iPhone Screenshot 1 Christopher Columbus High School now has it's own iPhone Application.   It has been available since October 23, 2011.

The app contains the school's contact information, important news, school/alumni/sports calendars, Twitter feeds, etc…

Merit Scholarship Commended Students

Daniel Betancourt Has Qualified as a Semi-Finalist
in the National Merit Scholarship Program


Senior Daniel Betancourt has qualified as a semi-finalist in the National Merit Scholarship Program based on his preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying test scores taken in the 2010/11 school year. This is an academic competition for recognition and scholarships which receives about 1.4 million entrants each year. He was among the highest scoring entrants in the nation and the state.



In addition, seniors Patrick Alvarez, Raymond Santos, and Alejandro Trujillo Qualified as Commended Students in the Program.

National Hispanic Scholars are Announced

Congratulations National Hispanic Recognition Scholars

Eleven Columbus Students have been selected as 2011-2012 National Hispanic Recognition (NHRP) Scholars and one received an Honorable Mention. The NHRP identifies outstanding Hispanic/Latino high school students from across the country who took the 2010 PSAT/NMSQT/PAA. It is a privilege to recognize these outstanding Columbus students. We congratulate them for their success.
